Hehe...now that I look at it, it does look like something that was drawn on an oekeki board. -__- Nope, this wasn't done on the computer...it was done by hand. I didn't ink it though, so it's actually the pencil sketch that was colored. (I can't ink for my life. When I ink, I ruin my entire picture. ;__; So I decided not to take the chance anymore)

Oh, and the red cross thing isn't a scar. It's just a mark that's painted on... XD

I want to draw on an oekeki board, but I can't figure the darn thing out! Well, I can't figure IRC out either, so is anyone surprised? :P

I think that oakeki board is pretty simple : Piyo but you still didn't say with what you colored that pic XD and I understand IRC, I'm so proud ^^ ( okay, I can chat and download, no more, but it's a starts!)

When I ink it's also a disaster And I'm a bad artist so you can imagine how that all works out I just fix it up in photoshop later.

Oekkaki boards are like online drawing boards. Think of them as the online bastard child of Photshop and MS Paint They have some useful features like the ability to control pixel size, use layers, change opacity, color schemes, etc. But they're not nearly as adavnced as photshop. BAsically they're the art equivilent of a message board. Here's a URL to the one my anime club uses. Beware, my art is very bad

Now if I could only find a way to kidnap Vu and Jessi's talent I'd be set. And keep in mind Vu usually uses a mouse for a lot of his stuff

Haha...oh, it's just that there are all these weird looking controls on the board and after using PSP from around 10-13, and then Photoshop for everything up until now, I just can't stand using the board. X__x Yes, it definitely is the "bastard child between Photoshop and Paint". XD

Plus, my art on a wacom tablet is really weird looking. I draw like a shoujo mangaka with my tablet (think all those pretty shoujo boy carbon copies), but nothing like that on paper. X__X

Yue - Oh, you asked what I colored it with! Photoshop all the way. I used the airbrush for everything but the hair, choosing about 10 different shades of each color when shading to get that "cut coloring" look. (I think that's the right terminology for it...it's when you can obviously tell when the artist switches shades, but you can't tell exactly where the new shade starts and how the artist did it. It's not gradient though. I always admired people who can do that, so this is my primitive attempt at it. ~.^) The hair was just random strokes from the brush. Dont' even try to find out where the light source is from the highlights and shadows of the hair.
